TotalEnergies Marketing UAE is the official partner of the 13th Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge

TotalEnergies Marketing UAE is the official sponsor and Outride Partner for one of the most important amateur cycling events in the UAE: Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge. The sponsorship will span a series of 6 races, for 1 year, from February 2023 to February 2024. The first event, held from February 18 to 19, 2023, hosted more than 3000 participants and visitors. Junior rides for children took place on Day 1, while the adult races took place on Day 2. The first was the cycle race that saw hundreds of cyclists of varying skill levels compete on routes ranging from 38 to 92km. The 38 km race was named TotalEnergies Outride. Meanwhile, the main race was a UCI-licensed 94 km race, with the top 20% of finishers qualifying for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship in Glasgow August 2023.

We had a strong physical presence at the event, with a branded gazebo serving as a lounge for participants, a branded bicycle parking zone, and TotalEnergies flags in the finish zone. TotalEnergies promoters were also present to engage and interact with the visitors to encourage them to sign up for Autocare. There was also valet parking powered by TotalEnergies, and we were also part of the prize ceremony. To boost brand awareness and footfall in our network of 42 Quartz Auto Service Premium Centers in the UAE, we distributed discounted oil change vouchers. The event was widely covered on social media and television.

The sponsorship is part of our strategy to engage more deeply and meaningfully with customers. It has allowed us to showcase our support for a zero-carbon sport like cycling and encourage active and healthy lifestyles in the community.
